Manavalakurichi
Manavalakurichi is located in Kanyakumari District of Tamil Nadu and is around 25 km north of Kanyakumari.
It is well known for the large deposits of mineral sand. Mineral Separation Plant, the oldest plant of its kind in India, owned and operated by Indian Rare Earths Limited is located here.
Nagercoil Junction Railway Station is the nearest major railhead.
