Welcome to Kanyakumari

Kanyakumari (also spelled Kanniyakumari or Kanniakumari) District is the southernmost point of the Indian Peninsula. The administrative capital of the district is Nagercoil, which is 20 km from Kanyakumari town. The district has the best literacy rate in the state and is considered the best educated district in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu by the HRD Ministry.
